Hosted by Emmy-award winner Maria Menounos and NFL star Andrew “Hawk” Hawkins, Roku Recommends is your weekly guide through the expanding world of streaming content, uncovering the best in hidden gems, new releases, and returning favorite shows.
Brands have the opportunity to be featured in dedicated segments via:
  • Integrated Segment where their messaging and/or physical product is featured within the world of the show
  • A Spotlight Segment for M&E partners promoting their upcoming titles

Client: Walmart

Objective: Highlight how Walmart’s priority products can help you have your best summer yet

Medium: Integrated Segment

Role: Copywriter, Creative Producer

Fun Fact: This was the first ever Integrated Segment on Roku Recommends! It was an idea I pitched before the show was even greenlit, and I wrote and creative produced the segment once the show was up and running.

Client: GEICO

Objective: Bring GEICO’s ‘GEICOween’ messaging to the Roku Recommends set

Medium: Integrated Segment

Role: Copywriter, Creative Producer

Client: Meta

Objective: Promote Meta’s upcoming season of Are We There Yet? hosted by Keke Palmer. Hawk, one of our Roku Recommends hosts, was actually a guest on the season they were promoting, so we got to have some fun banter where he gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at his time on the series.

Medium: Spotlight Segment

Title: Spotlight on Are We There Yet?

Client: Fisher-Price / DJ Bouncin’ Beats

Objective: Showcase a Fisher-Price priority product as the perfect gift for kids ahead of the holiday season
