Series Title: The Shortlist

Medium: ‘The Shortlist’ is a ‘Short Film Festival’ that premiered on The Roku Channel and was sponsored by GEICO, and these behind-the-scenes videos accompanied each collection.

Overview: We needed to highlight GEICO’s key messaging within the bespoke series in an organic way. The idea? GEICO makes it easy to save money on your insurance, so they’re also making it easy for filmmakers to make a short film. These BTS videos were the branded portion of this campaign, and that messaging needed to come through in the creative without being too heavy-handed to help increase brand favorability.

Role: Director, Story Producer - I directed all 3 videos, working with each short film director to help their story come to life in their interview and through the BTS footage. From there, I worked in the edit to select the best clips to tell the client’s story through this exclusive behind-the-scenes look.

According to a MAGNA study, these videos helped increase the brand’s favorability by 67% with our audience.
